Woman accused of drunk driving after crash with patrol vehicle

When individuals find themselves in situations that result in criminal charges, they may immediately begin to panic. However, staying calm could help parties accused of drunk driving or other violations better handle their predicaments. For instance, rather than believing that they will face punishment for their actions, they may want to determine their options for defending against allegations.

One woman in Oklahoma will undoubtedly want to find the best way to handle her situation after recently being charged. Reports stated that the woman had been driving a car when she allegedly crashed into the back of a police vehicle. The patrol SUV had been parked on the side of the road as the officer conducted an unrelated traffic stop. The woman driving the car was reported as being 27 years old.

The incident did not cause injury to the woman or the deputy. Nonetheless, the woman was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence. It was unclear what may have caused these suspicions or whether any sobriety tests or blood alcohol concentration tests were conducted. More information on this event may become available at a later time.

The Oklahoma woman accused of drunk driving may find it helpful to learn more about her predicament. Information on police procedures, the exact charges brought against her and other relevant topics could help her determine her best courses of action when it comes to creating and presenting a criminal defense. Even small details could prove significantly important, and therefore, she may wish to ensure that she has obtained reliable facts regarding her legal options.
