Oklahoma man faces drunk driving charge months after crash

It is common for individuals to want to deal with predicaments in the manner that they feel personally comfortable with. Because each person often has a different view on what approach may work best for a particular situation, such as facing charges for drunk driving, no single method will work for every accused party. Fortunately, individuals in this type of scenario can explore the different options available to them.

One man in Oklahoma will undoubtedly want to find out more on his defense avenues after recently being charged. Reports stated that the allegations stem from a car accident that took place last year. The man was reportedly driving a pickup truck when he collided with the rear of a van. The impact caused the van to leave the road and flip multiple times.

The incident resulted in five people suffering injuries, including the pickup truck driver. Authorities reportedly spoke with the man while he was at the hospital, and he allegedly displayed slow speech and a drowsy appearance. He purportedly told police that he had consumed alcohol, smoked marijuana and took a prescription painkiller earlier in the day. He is now facing a charge for DUI causing great bodily injury.

In order to address drunk driving allegations or similar charges, the specific details of a case can play an important role. The man allegedly involved in this Oklahoma crash may find taking the time to review the accident, questioning he went through and other aspects of the situation beneficial. This assessment may allow him to better determine what type of criminal defense strategies may best suit his needs.
